Armored Withdrawable AC Metal-Enclosed Switchgear
Product Overview
The KYN28-12 indoor armored, center-mounted AC metal-enclosed switchgear (hereinafter referred to as the “center-mounted cabinet”) is a complete distribution unit designed for 3.6–12 kV three-phase AC systems at 50 Hz, suitable for single-bus and single-bus sectionalized configurations. It is primarily used in power plants, for power delivery from small and medium-sized generators, for distribution in industrial, mining, and other enterprises, as well as for receiving and delivering power in secondary substations of the electric utility system and for starting large high-voltage motors. The equipment provides control, protection, and monitoring functions. It can be equipped with either VS1 vacuum circuit breakers or vacuum circuit breakers from various domestic and international manufacturers, such as VD4, 3AE, and HVX.
Terms of Use
● Altitude: ≤ 1000 m;
● The ambient air temperature shall not exceed 40°C, and the 24-hour average shall not exceed 35°C.
● The preferred minimum ambient air temperatures are: -5°C, -15°C, and -25°C.
● Average temperature of the hottest month: 30°C;
● Maximum annual average temperature: 20°C;
● Installation environment: No significant contamination; no explosive or corrosive gases or dust; and no severe vibration or impact at the installation location.
● If the requirements for normal operating conditions cannot be met, users are requested to consult with our company to resolve the issue.

Main Features
● Made from high-quality aluminum-zinc coated steel sheet, offering superior mechanical strength and a high degree of protection.
● The circuit breaker is mounted on a removable trolley for easy maintenance and replacement.
● Equipped with comprehensive mechanical interlocking functions to prevent misoperations, such as closing or opening the circuit breaker under load and unauthorized entry into energized compartments.
● Equipped with a reliable earthing switch to ensure the safety of maintenance personnel.
● Small footprint, saving land
● A pressure-relief vent is provided at the top of the cabinet to prevent pressure buildup in the event of an internal fault.
