Low-voltage withdrawable switchgear
Product Overview
This series of low-voltage withdrawable switchgear is suitable for power plants, substations, petrochemical facilities, metallurgical rolling mills, transportation and energy sectors, light industry and textile enterprises, as well as residential communities and high-rise buildings. It is used in AC power systems with a frequency of 50–60 Hz and a rated operating voltage of 660 V or less for the conversion, distribution, and control of electrical energy in power distribution systems.
Terms of Use
● Ambient air: temperature not exceeding +40°C and not falling below -5°C, with an average temperature over any 24-hour period not exceeding +35°C.
● Atmospheric conditions: The air shall be clean, with relative humidity not exceeding 50% at a maximum temperature of +40°C. At lower temperatures, higher relative humidity is permissible—for example, 90% at +20°C—provided that temperature fluctuations are taken into account, as condensation may occasionally occur.
● Altitude not exceeding 2,000 m.
● When this equipment is used on offshore oil drilling and production platforms and nuclear power plants, a separate technical agreement shall be executed.
● If the requirements for normal operating conditions cannot be met, users are requested to consult with our company to resolve the issue.
Implementation Standard
This equipment complies with the national professional standards GB 7251.1 “Low-Voltage Switchgear and Controlgear Assemblies” and JB/T 9961 “Low-Voltage Withdrawable Switchgear and Controlgear Assemblies,” as well as international professional standards such as IEC 439-1 and Part 5 of VDE 0660.

Cabinet Structure
The basic structure of the switchgear cabinet body is assembled from C-shaped profiles. These C-shaped profiles are fabricated by bending steel plates with mounting holes spaced at a modulus of E = 25 mm, and are fastened using self-tapping screws and 8.8-grade bolts. All cabinet frames and internal partitions are galvanized. The front and side doors, as well as the side panels, are powder-coated. The effective installation height is 72E. The basic structure of the cabinet is shown in Figure 2, and the basic dimensions of the cabinet are given in Table 3.
Switchgear Type
Power Center Cabinet (PC)
Fixed-mounted, withdrawable switchgear featuring circuit breakers with high breaking capacity ranging from 630 A to 6,300 A, characterized by an advanced and intelligent design.
Power Factor Automatic Compensation Cabinet (MDS-J), Motor Control Center Cabinet (MCC)
● Drawer-style
○ Constructed from drawers of various sizes, with each circuit’s main switch employing either a high-breaking-capacity molded-case circuit breaker or a rotary load switch with fuses.
● Fixed
○ The MCC cabinet’s functional units are installed using fixed, plug-in molded-case circuit breakers, which provide a clear disconnection point and enhanced safety while also benefiting from the reliable performance of a fixed-type cabinet. Each functional unit is separated by steel plates, ensuring independent operation; the overall unit design is compact, with high capacity and robust functionality. Various types of functional units can be assembled either in a single configuration within one cabinet or in a mixed configuration, with an effective height of 72E, allowing for flexible arrangement according to the specific scheme.
Drawer type
There are five standard sizes, all based on a height of 8E (200 mm):
● 8E/4: Assemble four drawer units in an 8E height space.
● 8E/2: Assemble two drawer units in the 8E height space.
● 8E: Assemble one drawer unit in the 8E height space.
● 16E: Assemble one drawer unit in a 16E (400 mm) high space.
● 24E: Assemble one drawer unit at a height of 24E (600 mm).
Five types of drawer units can be assembled either as a single configuration within a single cabinet or as a mixed configuration; the maximum number of fixed units that can be accommodated in a single cabinet for a single configuration is shown in Table 1.
